Sergeants
The Sergeants are uniformed patrol supervisors who are responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Fairmont Police Department.
Investigations & Operations
The Investigations & Operations focus is primarily on felony level investigations ranging from white collar crimes to death investigations. This position is staffed by a Sergeant who oversees day to day operations.
Narcotics Enforcement and Education
The Fairmont Police Department works very hard to keep illegal drugs off our streets. Our goal is to not only to arrest and prosecute drug offenders, but also to help people in our community from being brought down by the troubles of illegal drugs.
Crime Prevention and Community Outreach
The Crime Prevention and Community Outreach works with businesses and residents to increase public safety awareness and build relationships with people in the community.
School Resource Officers
The School Resource Officers serve as liaisons between the Fairmont Police Department, Fairmont Area Schools, and Arise Academy.
Community Service Officer
The Community Service Officer (CSO) performs a variety of service involving education and enforcement of City Code such as animal control, ordinance enforcement, parking enforcement, and assisting in a support services role for police department officers and staff.
